Overall, Bombay Darbar stands out as a reliable choice for those seeking a satisfying curry experience, valued for both its food quality and warm hospitality.
Been again 3 nights in a row, this time I sat in on each visit I had the same dishes in each of the three nights because I really enjoyed them that MUCH, they were absolutely delicious. I had the pompy doms to start followed by chicken jalfrezi vindalo hot with lemon rice and a garlic rote. highly recommended. Staff were very helpful and efficient always with a smile and greeting. I had a takeaway chicken jalfrezi with lemon rice and it was very good, the staff were very helpful and I like it when you can see into the kitchen which had a glass front. I was only in for a few minutes to pick up the curry but was impressed with the look of the restaurant and bar and I could see that the people eating in the restaurant were enjoying their food. I will be going back.
Amazing place we always make sure we visit when we are in the area! Food was incredible and tasty and the staff can not do enough for you. Would recommend to everyone to visit. Can’t wait to come back on the summer!
Do not be put off by the dark interior or the rubbish plastic chairs outside. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. I've no photos to add as I ate it all. Be careful it's spicey hot
My in laws frequent this restaurant and it’s clear to see why. The owner and staff cannot do enough for you. They are pleasant, polite and professional. The food is some of the best we’ve had. My husband and in-laws are from Bradford so they know a good Curry. It’s full of flavour and the meat is delicious. Prince and his team are extremely accommodating. My family has been twice now and both times we’ve been made to feel really special. Our Toddler was greeted with huge smiles and treated like a little queen. Thank you and we will be back again.
Great place to get a really good curry. We had 4 mains, 2 peshwari naan’s and 3 rice. 2 beers, bottle of white wine, 4 bottles of sparking water and 4 popadoms. Price I would say is cheaper than the UK (€115) but not the usual bargain prices that can be had a local pizzeria’s (just an example, not an equivalent comparison, I agree). Service was very pleasant but we did feel it was a bit slow, maybe so you drink more? Food wise, amazing! Every dish was absolutely outstanding. So, so tasty and hard to choose a favourite from the dishes we had. As the pic shows, we demolished it but we were hungry by the time it turned up! A complimentary drink at the end of the meal was a nice touch. Would I eat here again, 100% YES!!
The most amazing food, the vindaloo is the best I've ever tasted, and I've eaten Indian food around the world in many different countries, my wife loves the lamb dopiaza, its so succulent and sweet, my daughter loves their chicken balti, and the aloo gobi masala is off the scale, we eat here every week and the staff and Prince the owner are the friendliest guys you'll ever meet, a must try for your Indian fix 100% recommended, oh and the afghani sikh kebab is truly divine, don't take my word for it try it yourself !!
Just perfect in every possible way. I simply cannot out into words how wonderful it was to be treated to such delightful Indian cuisine by people as genuinely happy to go out of their way to make certain that everything was perfect. In fact, Prince and the head chef literally went above and beyond! Seriously, if you have any reason to visit this restaurant, do so. You will absolutely not regret it for a second.
Great food, good prices and excellent staff the manager was so nice and friendly.
